Day 27 – July 31

We arrived safe and sound at 14:52 and 9,918 kilometers later! Burnt 563 gallons of diesel at a cost of $1,566 US and Jasmyne read 3,156 pages in 25 days.

The girls compiled a list of firsts during our trip:

• Seeing someone getting arrested in the middle of an interstate

• Seeing a semi truck flipped on its side

• Seeing a tumble weed

• Seeing a buffalo’s butt

• Being and swimming in a gated community

• Inches away from a riffle

• Played snaps while wearing funny hats

• Played spoons

• Lit a couch on fire

• Pulled out a side-by-side that was stuck

• We saw an ATV and a side-by-side traffic jam

• Fed a deer from our balcony

• We saw a fifteen year old legally drive a vehicle

• We saw 27 Taylor Swift tour rigs

• We saw a Corvette gang

• No grass or picnic tables at the RV park in St Louis

• Saw a guy in a blue speedo sun bathing at a rest area

• Cops in New Orleans driving side-by-sides

• Legally drove 80 miles an hour on the interstate

Favorite places / moments:

• Partying with the Caneva’s and the Whitney’s in Lincoln Nebraska

• Visiting Graceland

• Black Hills in South Dakota

It was an awesome road trip and the four cats where glad to see us home!
